Rules of Survival Legacy Armor and Meds — Legacy Loadout Economy
Level 1–3 armor, heal priorities, and inventory tradeoffs from classic ROS while Myth Games develops PC Legacy.
Weapons win highlight reels; armor and meds win rotations. Classic Rules of Survival rewarded players who understood effective HP, heal channel timing, and when to drop a third rifle for two more first aid kits. Rules of Survival Legacy is Under Development at Myth Games on PC—not NetEase, original servers closed 2022-06-27, and Legacy has not received a verified public release. This guide adapts classic armor and med economy for Legacy prep.

Armor levels in classic ROS
Classic ROS used visible vest and helmet tiers:
| Level | Typical source | Classic impact |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Suburban houses, early compounds | Better than none; loses fast to AR bursts |
| Level 2 | Police offices, mid-tier POIs | Standard mid-game target for solos and duos |
| Level 3 | Military crates, hot POIs | Major fight swing; worth contesting if rotate allows |
Helmets reduced headshot multiplier—critical when Observatory and Fiord ridge lines favored DMR and bolt players from the weapons tier list.
Myth may rename icons or rebalance damage. The decision logic survives: upgrade armor before chasing a second sniper you cannot reposition.
Med categories and when to use them
Classic heal items stacked different recovery profiles:
- Bandages / drinks — cheap top-offs while repositioning; slow for mid-fight resets
- First aid kits — fast partial heal to ~75% band common in ROS; core solo staple
- Med kits — full heal but longer channel; best after fight ends, not during peek wars
- Adrenaline / boosts — sprint and gradual heal; valuable for long Fiord rotates
Priority rule: carry enough healing for two bad trades before third circle. Solo players who burn both kits early must rotate passively—see Solo Loadout rotate section.
Inventory economy: what to drop first
Backpack space is zero-sum. Classic ROS solo drop order when full:
- Pistols you will not use in the next two minutes
- Duplicate scopes on guns you are about to swap
- Low-tier ammo for weapons you dropped
- Never drop all heals for a third SMG in open field
Squad teams split differently—Squad Loadout assigns a med carrier who keeps team reset items while entry fragger holds throwables.
Armor vs weapon upgrade timing
Classic loot flow from how to find loot:
- Primary weapon — fight capability
- Level 2 armor if available — trade survivability
- Extended mag + compensator — DPS stability
- Level 3 armor — only if rotate safe; do not slow rotate for helmet alone
- Meds to quota — two full reset cycles minimum solo
Hot POI contests: level 2 + AR with attachments often beats level 3 vest with naked QBZ and no meds.
Squad armor and med splits
Four-stack classic template:
- Entry: level 2 minimum, SMG or AR, stun/frag priority
- Flex: level 2–3, AR/DMR, trades attachments with team
- Anchor: level 2+, DMR/bolt, carries extra 4x/8x for team
- Support: level 2, SMG or AR, extra first aid and smokes
Call armor state during rotates: “level 2 broken, need swap” prevents feeding third parties at military crates.
Map-specific armor and med notes
Ghillie Island (~120 players): fights arrive quickly—med channels must be pre-planned before pushing Training Base courtyard. Smokes cover Bitter Lake crossings when armor is cracked.
Fearless Fiord (~300 players): longer rotates burn boosts and adrenaline; squads without vehicle meds die to zone chip on ice fields. See maps hub for rotate context.
Throwables as med economy extensions
Stun and smoke grenades reduce damage taken—indirect med value. Solo players: one smoke minimum for bad circle pulls. Squads: support role stacks two smokes when final zone lacks hard cover.
Legacy prep drills (no risky downloads)
Practice without unofficial APKs:
- After each scrim, log what you dropped first—did you drop heals incorrectly?
- Time first aid channels in training; cancel if audio cues suggest push
- Run how to find loot routes that guarantee med spawns in suburban kitchens
- Compare armor swap timing with Weapon Compare DPS targets

Myth balance expectations
Myth Games may adjust heal channels, armor damage reduction, or inventory slot counts. Treat classic numbers as baseline habits, not final Legacy stats. Update this page after verified patch notes—not Revival gameplay alone.
Safety reminder
“Unlimited med” cheat menus in fake launchers are malware vectors. Legacy prep uses wiki guides and official Myth channels via safe download rules.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What armor level should solos prioritize in classic ROS?
Level 2 vest and helmet was the practical mid-game target. Level 3 was ideal at military POIs but not worth dying on rotate for alone.
How many heals should a solo carry?
Plan for two full reset cycles after bad trades—typically first aid kits plus bandages or boosts for zone chip.
Should squads designate a med carrier?
Yes. Support roles often held extra first aid and smokes while entry players kept stuns and frags.
Do armor stats transfer exactly to Legacy?
Unknown until Myth publishes balance notes. Classic tier logic still guides loot priority at launch.
What should I drop when inventory is full?
Drop unused pistols and duplicate attachments before dropping heals. Armor upgrades beat hoarding low-tier secondaries.
Are modded med APKs safe for prep?
No. Unofficial APK mirrors are high risk and unrelated to Myth Games PC development.
