Rules of Survival Legacy Duo Loadouts
Two-player kits that share ammo, cover revive windows, and win trades without sounding like a full squad.
Duos sit between Solo selfishness and Squad bureaucracy. You must share information, cover revives, and specialize lightly without starving either player of a usable kit. Rules of Survival Legacy is Under Development by Myth Games on PC (August 2026). This guide uses classic ROS duo logic plus Myth map showcases so you can lock habits before verified queues open. For named-compound terrain context such as Safe Store, open Safe Store. Original RoS shut down 2022-06-27 under NetEase; Myth’s revival is separate. Confirm live loot when Myth publishes test notes via Discord. Pre-register interest at ros.mythgames.net.
Solo selfish play contrasts with duo cooperation and squad coordination. Duo players must share information, cover revives, and specialize without starving either player of a usable kit. See also Solo loadout, Squad loadout, and Game modes.
Player A, Flex AR entry: Primary M4A1 or ACR or QBZ-class AR. Secondary SMG or shotgun for buildings. Utility 2 smokes, frags if available. Meds balanced heals plus boosts.
Player B, Mid-range trade: Primary AR or DMR (SVD or SKS-class). Secondary AR or SMG backup. Utility 2 smokes minimum (revive insurance). Meds extra bandages for post-trade tops. Weapon tiers covered in Weapons, Weapon damage, and Attachments pages.
Prefer same caliber primaries when looting is contested for faster top-offs. First 4x goes to the player taking mid-range trades; entry keeps red-dot or holo until second scope. Extended mags on the entry AR before vanity sniper parts. Call need smokes as loudly as need AR鈥攔evives win duo games.
Warm compound drop plan: each player takes a building, meet at a car or ridge with kits. Hot POI drop plan: only with voice and a split plan鈥擳raining Base, Rust Bay, Hot drops. Cold drop plan: edge houses, then third-party鈥攂est for placement weekends.
Before any revive: break line of sight, smoke if angles exist, one player watches while the other channels, reposition immediately鈥攕cavengers hear success. If Myth changes knockdown timers in tests, keep the smoke-first principle.
By first full circle you want: both players with Level 2 or higher armor when possible, at least three heals total between you, one long-range answer (DMR or sniper or 4x AR), vehicle optional but noise optional discipline.
At Observatory, one player holds ridge while the other watches rear stairs. At Research Edifice, split wings but stay within voice range. At Masout Factory, clear sheds together before yard crosses.
Endgame duo habits: play for trades, not hero 1v2 wide swings. Hold utility for final crosses. Prefer off-angles over shared pixel peeks. If one player is weak on heals, the healthy player peeks less greedily.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Should both duo players run snipers?
Rarely. Keep at least one close-range capable kit for buildings and stair pushes.
What is the most important duo utility?
Smokes for revive and rotate. Frag grenades are secondary to smoke insurance.
Same ammo type or mixed?
Same caliber helps under loot pressure. Mixed is fine once both kits are complete.
Is the Safe Store video about duo loot?
It is a Myth Games RoS Legacy Ghillie showcase. Use it for POI familiarity while applying this loadout framework.
Hot drop as a duo?
Only with clear building splits and voice. Otherwise warm compounds raise survival and practice quality.
Where do I go next after this page?
Read Game modes for queue choice, Hot drops for landing risk, and Armor and meds for backpack discipline.
