Rules of Survival Legacy Solo Loadout Guide

One-player weapon, heal, and rotate priorities based on classic ROS—while Myth Games develops Legacy on PC.

Solo Loadout

Solo queue in classic Rules of Survival punished hesitation. You had no teammate to trade kills, no dedicated sniper to cover your push, and no one to drop bandages when you won a messy compound fight. Rules of Survival Legacy aims to bring that tension back on PC under Myth Games, but the project is still Under Development with no verified public release. This loadout guide translates what solo veterans ran before NetEase shut global servers on 2022-06-27 so you can practice habits safely—through Myth Discord playtests when announced, community scrims, or classic content—without trusting high-risk APK sites.

Pair this page with Weapon Compare when you are down to two rifles, and Drop Planner before you queue. Squads should read Squad Loadout instead; role splitting changes every recommendation below.

Core solo philosophy

Your loadout must answer three questions alone: Can you win a mid-range beam fight? Can you reset HP fast enough to take the next engagement? Can you rotate before zone damage without burning every heal? Solo winners in ROS rarely carried the flashiest gun—they carried consistency.

Pick one primary that you can control under pressure, one secondary that covers a weakness, level-two armor when available, and a med kit budget that survives two bad trades. Utility grenades beat an extra pistol slot in final circles.

Primary weapon tiers

Stable AR (recommended default): ACR or M4A1. Both reward tap-firing and short bursts at mid range. The ACR tends toward lower visual recoil; the M4A1 appears often in floor loot on classic maps. Either works with compensator plus extended mag.

Aggressive option: QBZ when you expect more building fights and strafe-heavy duels. Slightly harder recoil for some players, but lighter feel when you hot drop.

Close-range pivot: Thompson if your route cuts through urban grids. TTK spikes inside rooms, but open-field rotates suffer. Swap to an AR as soon as loot allows.

Long-range lottery: SVD or AWM only when you already secured armor and close backup. Bolt players in solo must self-spot and self-reposition—one missed shot invites a push.

Use the interactive table on Weapon Compare before committing in a test match.

Attachments and loot priority

Attachment order for most solos:

  1. Extended mag — fight length decides solo games.
  2. Compensator or suppressor — pick compensator if you beam; suppressor if you third-party.
  3. Scope — red dot or 2x for AR; 4x for DMR/bolt roles.
  4. Stock — nice on ACR/M4, never skip if floor loot is rich.

Loot quickly but do not chase purple rifles without mods. A blue AR with attachments beats a naked higher tier.

Meds, boosts, and throwables

Baseline solo inventory after first minute:

  • First aid or med kit — enough for two full resets.
  • Bandages or drinks — cheap top-offs while rotating.
  • One smoke — cross open ground when zone pulls bad.
  • One stun or frag — break peekers in final compound.

If backpack space tight, drop pistols before dropping heals. Solo players die with unused grenades when they hoard rifles they will never swap to.

Drop and rotate routes

Hot drop when you want fight XP and can win early duels with Thompson or shotgun spawns. Expect third parties; leave fast after first knock.

Edge loot when you are learning Legacy movement or testing new sensitivity. Clear small compounds, upgrade attachments, then move toward center before third circle.

Call your own rotates aloud—even in solo—to build habit for future squad comms. Watch Myth’s Release Timeline for map pool announcements; rotate timing shifts per map layout.

What not to confuse with Legacy

This is not NetEase’s original live service. It is also separate from Rules of Survival Revival and Roblox Rise of Survival. Only follow install instructions from Myth Discord or domains Myth controls.

July 2026 social posts claiming exact launch dates remain unverified rumors until pinned by moderators. Loadouts here stay valid as practice; stats may change on Myth patch day.

Quick reference checklist

  • One mastered AR + one close-range answer
  • Extended mag before rarity upgrades
  • Two full heal cycles minimum
  • Smoke for bad zone pulls
  • Rotate early; solos cannot out-heal zone in open fields

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Best solo AR for beginners returning from 2022?

ACR or M4A1 with compensator and extended mag. Both forgive recoil and appear often in classic loot pools.

Should solo players ever run AWM?

Only with armor, a close secondary, and a plan to reposition after each shot. Otherwise you become an easy push target.

Hot drop or safe loot for Legacy prep?

Hot drop to learn fights; edge loot to learn rotates. Alternate sessions until Myth confirms final map logic.

Are these loads official Myth balance?

No. They mirror classic ROS solo habits until Myth publishes Legacy patch notes.

How many heals should I carry solo?

Plan for two full resets after bad trades, plus cheap top-offs for zone damage.

Where do I verify download before playing?

Myth Discord and Updates pages—not APK repost blogs.
