Airdrops & Healer Guide

Airdrops and support/healer tools are classic battle-royale spice: high reward, loud timing, and endless third parties. Myth’s Rules of Survival Legacy development coverage has highlighted airdrop and healer systems returning to the conversation. Legacy is still Under Development on PC in August 2026鈥攖he embedded Falcon2FAST showcase is a feature progress clip, not a live patch-note bible.

Airdrop decision framework

Ask three questions before you run at smoke:

Do we need the crate more than we need position? Can we win the first team and still watch the second? Is zone about to punish a long loot animation?

Situation decision guidance:

Early game, weak kits, crate nearby: Contest carefully Mid game, already AR + armor: Third-party, don’t open first Late circle, crate in open: Usually skip Squad with smokes + cover: Contest with roles

Fight selection after crates: How to win. Zone timing: Circle strategy.

How to contest without feeding

Approach from cover, not the open field everyone watches. Let impatient teams open first when possible鈥攖hird-party the looters. Assign one player to watch edges while others loot. Take guns/armor/heals first; cosmetics last (if any). Leave before the third team’s footsteps arrive.

Loot discipline overlaps How to find loot and Armor and meds.

Healer / support identity

Even if Legacy’s exact healer kit differs from classic modes, support play always means:

Carrying extra meds and sharable utility Prioritizing teammate revives in cover Tracking who needs armor plates vs boosts Not ego-peeking while the squad is cracked

Support job and solo habit to unlearn:

Drop meds for entry fragger instead of hoarding every kit Smoke for revive instead of instant revive in open Call third parties instead of silent loot greed

Squad frameworks: Squad loadout, Duo loadout, Game modes.

Throwables and utility overlap

Airdrop fights are grenade and smoke puzzles. When Myth showcases throwables alongside ranking/platoon systems, treat utility as a first-class loot tier鈥攕ee Feature progress update and Attachments for optic priorities after the fight.

Map context for crate paths

Crates over mid-map compounds draw the same players who hot-drop Bitter Lake or Training Base. Edge crates near Wind Cliff or Echo Valley can be quieter but risk longer rotates. Plan with Drop planner.

Vehicles and airdrops

Driving onto a crate is a highlight and a death sentence. Park short, kill engine, walk.

Reality check

Feature showcases do not equal a public client. Ignore APK “healer unlock” packs.

Practice plan before tests

Drill smoke-for-revive habits in any BR you play now. Agree crate roles in lobby on Spawn Island planning logic. Review med quotas on Armor and meds. Keep gun priority honest via Weapons.
