Sixteen days after the failed July rumor window, here is what Myth's own page still says鈥攁nd what YouTube still does not prove.
16 August 2026 is a useful calendar stake for Rules of Survival Legacy. The loud July 25, 2026 launch rumor is more than three weeks behind us. Third-party APK blogs still recycle that date as if it were a patch number. Myth’s own landing page at ros.mythgames.net still reads Coming Soon with Pre-Register. That combination is the mid-August fact pattern.
Legacy remains Under Development by Myth Games on PC. It is not NetEase. Original Rules of Survival shut down 2022-06-27. Discord: https://discord.com/invite/wUsusyhGgr. This page sits beside August status (the post-rumor snapshot) and Feature progress (the systems translator). Use all three; do not collapse them into “the game is out.”

Nothing in that table is a vibe. If a blog says pre-register “closes today,” treat it as unverified unless Myth pins the same sentence. The live Myth page is an interest funnel, not a countdown clock we can audit.
What actually moved since late July
Development coverage did not freeze after the rumor date failed. Community reporters kept posting Ghillie Island POI rebuilds and systems clips:

Those clips are real as footage of a build. They are not a launcher. Players who confuse the two are the audience APK sites write for.
